RSS

RSS feeds are the most widely-used format for the distribution of news on the Internet. Via this XML-based technology, news arrives directly on the recipient’s computer as soon as it is available.

Through RSS feeds it is possible to receive all news published by Istat daily: press releases and on-line volumes, collections of statistical tables and database updates.

An aggregator program is required to use RSS feeds. Many of these programs are available for free as standalone products or to supplement other programs.
