The statistics published in this yearbook integrate those provided by Istat on pension benefits and enrich the information related to the pension system.
Administrative data on pension beneficiaries come from the Central archive of pensioners held by the National Social Security Institute (INPS) and are updated up to 31 December 2007. In particular, statistics refer to the number and income of pension beneficiaries which are classified by gender, age, region and province for each category of benefits.

How to buy the print edition

The print edition, when ready, will be available in the Statistical Information Centres, located in every Italian region and autonomous province, in the bookshops collaborating with Istat or by filling out the appropriate order form.
